When the perfect client comes, you immediately know. That’s been our relationship with GTE Financial since late summer 2020. BKN was initially contracted to produce a few visual stories highlighting members through their GTE + WE series. After the successful completion, GTE retained BKN to run their organic social media and light pr. What started small, quickly grew. As of 2023, BKN Creative has become an internal part of the marketing team assisting in organic and paid social media, reputation management and public relation, animation, photography, video, graphic design and much more.

Social Media

Maintaining both paid and organic social media for a financial institution is something that is critical to the brand. With a cell phone at arms reach, customers have 24/7 access to your online presence. As such, attentiveness, compassion, and understanding are core traits required to properly run social media effectively. BKN happily crafts the required organic and paid strategies, produces content, manages all incoming messages and comments, runs paid social ads, and speaks to members as though we were an internal team member. We even recently won an award for our social media strategy and presence. Doing it right, just feels good!

Animation

Technology and innovation within in the financial industry is incredibly exciting. When GTE Financial launched their new mobile app and desktop experience, they came to us to develop animated, virtual product tutorials. With each video focusing on a function of their experience, we helped craft scrips, worked with voice over talent, animated, and produced videos for their members to easily transition into their new experience. These evergreen animations have proven to be quite successful internally, and externally at GTE Financial.

Public Relations & Reputation Management

The financial industry has a competitive landscape due to a flooded market – there seems to be a plethora of credit unions and banks at your disposal – unless you need a fee reversed… am I right? Our goal with GTE Financial has been to keep them relevant, popular, and a leader in the industry. We’ve achieved that. Having a consistent public relations strategy is essential in growing the footprint of a brand. With a consistent increase in pickups YoY, almost 50 award wins, and a plethora or mentions, we have tripled their exposure in just three years. And that’s at a low scale. We’ll pat our backs now, thank you very much!

On top of crafting press releases, pitching to local media, finding and submitting awards, we also monitor and reply to all reviews left for GTE Financial. Over the last few years we have helped increase their 1.5-star rating on Google, to a 4.8. Damn, that’s good!
