When the City of Tampa issued an RFP seeking support for their upcoming Trash Free Waters campaign, we immediately knew we wanted to get involved. The project aimed to develop six distinct animal characters, each adorned in human clothing and infused with unique personalities and traits. This creative challenge thoroughly engaged us, prompting our team to brainstorm and craft a compelling pitch. Before long, we were thrilled to learn that our proposal had been selected, and we eagerly plunged into the project headfirst—pun definitely intended! With enthusiasm and dedication, we set out to bring these vibrant characters to life, ready to make a splash in promoting environmental awareness.
Creative Inspiration
Focusing on the unique wildlife native to the vibrant Tampa Bay area, the City of Tampa team collaborated with us to identify specific animals that would resonate with the community. We conducted thorough research into the distinct characteristics and behaviors of each species, allowing us to craft an engaging narrative tailored to the targeted demographic. To further enhance community involvement, we selected six iconic Tampa-centric locations as backdrops for our campaign, showcasing the local characters alongside their natural counterparts. With creative and quirky headlines emphasizing the importance of responsible waste disposal, we effectively delivered our message, reaching a diverse audience while working with limited resources.
