The Tampa Bay LGBT Chamber of Commerce engaged with BKN Creative in early 2020 to assist in establishing their new branding. With both owners of BKN Creative involved with the organization, it was an easy ask. BKN Creative designed their new logo and branding just in time for their January 2020 Annual State of the Chamber Luncheon where BKN CEO, Kevin Tydlaska-Dziedzic, unveiled the new branding with an impactful speech on the “meaning” of their new icon.

Starting with the base understanding of the previous logo, our main goal was to simplify and modernize the logo to be more inclusive of the LGBT community, while attracting a broader audience with a focus on growth. Starting from scratch we developed a logo with a large emphasis on “LGBT.” We then focused on crafting an icon that reflected the 7 counties the chamber serves, as well as incorporating the colors of the rainbow, which represents the LGBTQ+ community. With an immediate attraction from the board, the new logo was launched.

In addition to the chambers new branding, BKN took on additional graphic design and photography projects to complete the 2020 rebrand. This included several full page layouts, social graphics, advertisements, headshots, and much more.
