BKN CREATIVE CELEBRATES WOMEN NOT JUST ONE MONTH A YEAR, BUT ALL YEAR LONG

On 19th Street of Ybor City sits a hub for creativity and innovation: BKN Creative, a full-service boutique Creative & Marketing Agency. Family-owned and operated by Kevin and Brandon Tydlaska-Dziedzic, BKN Creative is driven by its mission to foster a space where all people can feel included, welcomed, and celebrated — especially those in minority groups. As a champion for women, there are six women on a team of ten and two women hold executive positions. As an amplifier for unheard voices in the industry, BKN Creative is coming up on their three-year anniversary in April 2021. Check them out at bkncreative.com.

Bringing a sense of support and community to the business calls for relationships among clients and employees to be authentic and encouraging. BKN Creative’s Chief Operations Officer, Katy Rey began as a client, “I started working with BKN as a client in 2019 and fell in love with the culture and the way they treated everyone on their path. The collaboration and passion for everyone to succeed were motivating and inspiring.” With full transparency, open communication, and acceptance at the core of their values, BKN Creative has built a safe haven for all voices. This impact spans beyond the borders of Florida as BKN Creative also employs Jana Everett as their Production and Traffic Manager remotely from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Everett feels heard and valued in her position, “BKN Creative is such an incredible place to work because they care so much about each and every employee’s growth, opinions, and, most importantly, what we all bring to the table. I am proud to work for a company that lifts us up so that we can grow together.” As a small business, BKN Creative provides an experience backed by professionalism and openness to all clients searching to discover their voice.

BKN Creative also empowers students to discover their calling. In 2019 the company welcomed Shaniah Thompson as a Social Media intern while she completed her degree in Mass Communications at the University of South Florida. As a self-starter, Thompson blossomed at BKN. Thompson was hired full-time as the Social Media and Community Manager after the internship. With a tight-knit team there is a direct connection between employees and the CEOs that is distinct, “Brandon and Kevin continue to give us the freedom to be creative and allow each of us to put a little bit of ourselves into the work we are producing. I’ve always struggled to figure out what I want to do in my life, career-wise, and BKN helped me discover my true passion. I couldn’t be more grateful for that!” As a place where all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives are celebrated and embraced, BKN Creative is set to be a catalyst for even more success. At their core is Palma Dziedzic, Chief Financial Officer. Dziedzic is the mother of Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer, Brandon Tydlaska-Dziedzic. Dziedzic is overjoyed to contribute to her son’s dream, “I have been with them since BKN was just an idea. As both their mother and mother-in-law, I love to see how far they have come and where they are going. I also feel they value my opinion and trust me with their finances.”

Now, more than ever, the advertising and marketing industries are seeking to diversify the stories told in the media. BKN Creative combines the developing industries with the mission to accurately represent and celebrate minority groups. Those considering a new perspective with their advertising and marketing would benefit greatly from what BKN Creative brings. BKN Creative lives the mission of truly becoming the change they wish to see in the world. BKN Creative is an LGBTBE Certified minority family-owned full-service boutique Creative & Marketing Agency located in Tampa, FL.
